Bos Sauna – Waiver & Safety Agreement
To help keep everyone safe and ensure a calm, respectful experience, all guests must read and agree to the following before using the sauna or entering the sea.
All sauna use is at your own risk.
By attending, you confirm that you are fit to participate, or that you have received appropriate medical advice confirming heat exposure is safe for you.
• Alcohol, drugs and nudity are not permitted in the sauna.
• Bos Sauna may refuse entry to anyone who appears intoxicated or unfit to participate.
• The sauna is for adults and young people aged sixteen and over only.
• Please remove any loose jewellery before entering, as metal can heat quickly and cause burns.
• For your own safety, remove glasses and contact lenses before your session. Lenses may dry out in high heat and coatings on glasses can be damaged.
• Remove all footwear, neoprene items and swim shoes before entering the sauna. These materials are not suitable for high temperatures.
• Please keep personal belongings with you or stored safely.
•Bos Sauna cannot accept responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen items.
Do not use the sauna if you:
– have high or low blood pressure
– have any heart or circulatory conditions
– have diabetes or epilepsy
– are pregnant
– are prone to fainting or dizziness
Sauna practice and etiquette:
• Rinse or wash feet before entering the sauna.
• Always sit on a towel to protect your skin and the benches.
• Keep sauna rounds short and steady. We suggest sessions of five to fifteen minutes and no longer than twenty minutes at a time.
• When adding water to the stones, pour gently and gradually.
• Only use the water provided. Do not bring your own essential oils or products, as they may create hazards when heated.
• Move carefully around the sauna and surrounding area. Surfaces may become hot, wet or slippery.
Important safety notice:
• Our sauna is situated in a coastal environment with uneven ground, changing weather conditions and natural hazards.
• By entering the area, you acknowledge these risks and accept full responsibility for your own safety.
• If you choose to enter the sea for a cold plunge, you do so entirely at your own risk.
• Please assess your swimming ability, cold tolerance and the changing conditions of the water at Sennen.
• There are three access paths to the sea from the sauna area. One of these routes is particularly unstable and uneven, especially in wet or windy conditions. We strongly advise against using this route. Please choose the safest path for your ability and take extra care at all times.
Group bookings:
• If you are booking on behalf of others, you confirm that every member of your group has read and understood these terms and accepts full responsibility for their own safety in both the sauna and the sea.
Cancellations & Closures
• Bos Sauna operates in an outdoor coastal environment, which means sessions may occasionally need to close at short notice due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances such as staff illness or personal emergencies.
• If this happens, guests will be notified by text message as soon as possible. Bookings will be transferred to a new date or refunded in full if rescheduling is not possible.
• Bos Sauna cannot accept responsibility for travel costs or other expenses incurred as a result of short-notice closures.
